OUR HISTORY

Tauhara Middle Lands Trust comprises 7 separate land titles of approximately 849 hectares with more than 2,798 owners who descend from the original Māori landowners. The land titles were originally vested in the New Zealand Guardian Trust Company Limited (then, the New Zealand Insurance Company) on 16 June 1969. Since that date, the Trust Orders have been varied by the Maori Land Court to their current form.
